These blue beauties are jam-packed with sweet tart flavor and none of the bitterness often encountered in other varieties. Early Blue is one of the earliest of all honeyberries, ripening just ahead of strawberries in late May-June. They are not picky about soil pH and are quite easy to grow. Bushes grow 2- to 3- ft. tall with an equal spread and feature attractive bluish-green foliage. Best fruiting in partial to full sun. Plant at least 2 varieties for pollination.
