A medium-sized evergreen tree known for its dense, attractive, dark green foliage, pleasant fragrance, upright cones, and long-lasting needles. It has a narrow, pyramidal to conical shape and a moderate growth rate.
Needles are short, soft, and dark green on the upper surface, with a silvery-blue underside featuring two white stomatal lines, and are arranged spirally along the branches.
Performs best in full sun to partial shade and prefers sandy or loamy, well-drained, acidic soil. Commonly used for Christmas trees, ornamental plantings, and windbreaks.
