A moderately growing evergreen with a narrow, dense, pyramidal form, featuring horizontal branches and slightly drooping lower limbs. Needles are flat and blue-green, individually attached to the stem, and emit a subtle citrusy fragrance.
Cones are typically borne near the top of the tree and point upright. Performs well in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained, acidic soil.
Known for good needle retention and resistance to common fir pests and diseases, it is a popular choice for ornamental plantings, windbreaks, and Christmas tree production.
