Buy Green Splendor Arborvitae online. ‘Green Splendor’ is a fast growing evergreen variety that is a terrific substitution to ‘Green Giant’, ‘Spring Grove’, and Leyland Cypress. The growth habit is slightly more slender and columnar than ‘Green Giant’. It is known to hold excellent green color throughout the winter months. The uses include privacy screens, borders, or windbreaks.

A very fast growing arborvitae / thuja selection which is an excellent alternative to Green Giant – grows every bit as fast as Green Giant too. Was originally grown from seed provided from the Hoyt Arboretum, and was developed as a replacement solution for Leyland Cypress. Growth habit is somewhat similar to Green Giant, but tends to be more slender & columnar. Also holds good green color slightly better than Green Giant through winter months. Makes an excellent privacy screen, border, or windbreak. This variety has become one of our personal favorites here at the nursery.
