A moderately fast-growing, large evergreen conifer with a straight trunk, broad crown, and stout, level branches with upturned tips. It forms a rounded conical shape that becomes more irregular with age.
Needles are stiff and sharp, dark green in color, and borne in bundles of two, often appearing curved or slightly twisted. Cones are medium-sized, ovoid, and sessile, emerging green and maturing to a shiny yellow-brown to light brown.
Thrives in full sun and adapts to a variety of soil types, including clay, but performs best in well-drained soil. Recommended for windbreaks, as well as landscape plantings in gardens and parks.

All bare root birch single stem must be ordered in increments of 10.
