A broad, dense pyramidal tree with stiff, horizontal branches. Plants are propagated from seed so the color varies. We grow the Kiabab strain. This is one of the most popular strains for its uniform growth and high percentage of blue plants. Other strains may produce small numbers of highly colored silver plants. This strain has a medium growth rate with well spaced branches that make superior specimens. Grow in full sun and rich moist, well drained soil. Plants are very adaptable to a wide range of soil types in the landscape. A great urban tree. Seed source: Kiabab National Forest, Arizona.

When ordering tray material, any 38 Ct and 50 Ct Evergreen Gro Plugs or 18 Ct cell liner trays, the order quantity must be in full tray increments.
Example
- 7 trays of 50 Ct Gro Plugs would be 350 plants on the order line.
- 5 trays of 18 Ct trays would be 90 plants on the order line.
All bare root birch single stem must be ordered in increments of 10.
