A slow to moderate growing, medium-sized, hardy, coniferous evergreen known for its dense pyramidal shape, strong central leader and disease resistance making it a great alternative for Colorado Spruce. Needles are bluish-green with stomatal lines present on all surfaces, spreading radially and somewhat ascending on upper branchlet surfaces, growing spreading and curved upward on lower sides. Cones are oblong-cylindrical shaped, green when young, maturing to a brownish-yellow. Prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Commonly used as an ornamental tree, for specimen planting or a vertical accent in landscapes. Can also be used for windbreaks, privacy screens or sound barriers.

When ordering tray material, any 38 Ct and 50 Ct Evergreen Gro Plugs or 18 Ct cell liner trays, the order quantity must be in full tray increments.
Example
- 7 trays of 50 Ct Gro Plugs would be 350 plants on the order line.
- 5 trays of 18 Ct trays would be 90 plants on the order line.
All bare root birch single stem must be ordered in increments of 10.
