PINE PONDEROSA KAIBAB SEED
Originating from the Kaibab Plateau of northern Arizona, this specialized southwestern ponderosa pine seed source is exceptionally heat and drought tolerant. Adapted to dry late-spring conditions and summer monsoon rainfall, it represents a distinct southern genetic lineage and is well suited to arid and semi-arid landscapes.
Compared to Pacific ponderosa pine, Kaibab trees grow more slowly but offer superior drought resistance and adaptability to harsh climates. Their prickly cones typically release seed in late summer of the second growing season.

When ordering tray material, any 38 Ct and 50 Ct Evergreen Gro Plugs or 18 Ct cell liner trays, the order quantity must be in full tray increments.
Example
- 7 trays of 50 Ct Gro Plugs would be 350 plants on the order line.
- 5 trays of 18 Ct trays would be 90 plants on the order line.
All bare root birch single stem must be ordered in increments of 10.
