A moderately growing, medium-sized coniferous evergreen tree that exhibits a slender, pyramidal shape when young, transitioning to a more open and irregular crown with age. Branches are long and horizontal to pendant. Needles are straight to slightly twisted and pliant, dark green to blue-green, finely toothed near the tips, growing in fascicles of five. Cones are large with reflexed, thick scales and are creamy brown to light yellow-brown in color. Thrives in well-drained, sandy or loamy soils and prefers full sun to partial shade. A popular choice for Christmas trees, windbreaks or loose privacy screens.

When ordering tray material, any 38 Ct and 50 Ct Evergreen Gro Plugs or 18 Ct cell liner trays, the order quantity must be in full tray increments.
Example
- 7 trays of 50 Ct Gro Plugs would be 350 plants on the order line.
- 5 trays of 18 Ct trays would be 90 plants on the order line.
All bare root birch single stem must be ordered in increments of 10.
