Bluish-Green

A slow- to moderate-growing, medium-sized, hardy evergreen conifer known for its dense, pyramidal shape, strong central leader, and excellent disease resistance, making it a great alternative to Colorado Spruce.

Needles are bluish-green with stomatal lines present on all surfaces. They spread radially and are somewhat ascending on upper branchlets, while curving upward along the lower sides.

Cones are oblong to cylindrical, emerging green and maturing to a brownish-yellow.

Performs best in full sun and well-drained soil. Commonly used as an ornamental tree, for specimen plantings, or as a vertical accent in the landscape. Also well suited for windbreaks, privacy screens, and sound barriers.
