A moderately growing, large evergreen conifer exhibiting a narrowly conical, pyramidal shape with slightly drooping horizontal branches reaching the ground, creating a dense, formal appearance. Needles are rhombic in cross-section, glaucous blue-green above with several thin lines of stomata and blue-white below with two broad bands of stomata. Cones are pendulous, slender and cylindrical with thin, flexible scales and a smoothly rounded margin, green or reddish when young, maturing to pale brown. One of the most environmentally tolerant spruces; withstanding heat, cold, wind and drought. Thrives in moist, well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade. Popular choice for ornamental plantings, specimen trees and windbreaks.

When ordering tray material, any 38 Ct and 50 Ct Evergreen Gro Plugs or 18 Ct cell liner trays, the order quantity must be in full tray increments.
Example
- 7 trays of 50 Ct Gro Plugs would be 350 plants on the order line.
- 5 trays of 18 Ct trays would be 90 plants on the order line.
All bare root birch single stem must be ordered in increments of 10.
